Technical Service Engineer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our Technical Support Team in China, we are looking for a skilled After-Sales Technical Engineer who can provide excellent technical support and service to our customers. If you have a strong technical background in photonics and enjoy solving complex technical problems, we look forward to receiving your application.

What can you expect in the role of a Technical Service Engineer?

  • Responsible for on-site/remote customer training, product installation and maintenance for company products
  • Assist sales team with market and sales activities: support exhibition arrangements, accompany sales visits to customers, and provide technical support to sales
  • Responsible for daily maintenance of Beijing repair center and product testing/repair for customers
  • Handle other temporary tasks as arranged
  • Participate in domestic and international training programs and share learning with colleagues
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for support standards
  • Work independently in a high-tech laser environment

Must-haves: What you’ll need for this role?

  • Master's degree or above in Optoelectronic Technology (candidates with laser-related experience are preferred)
  • Strong hands-on ability and logical thinking skills
  • Strong learning, expression and communication skills, with teamwork spirit, able to adapt to frequent business travel
  • Proficient in various office software
  • Experience with laser systems, optical instruments, or precision measurement equipment
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities

What would be a plus in this role?

  • Experience with TOPTICA or similar laser products

  • Knowledge of spectroscopy, microscopy, or quantum optics applications

  • Experience with optical alignment and laser system debugging
